Hey Honey Bunny!

I have recently found out about the dangers of sugars and artificial sweeteners from a good friend. So I have started doing some research and found out that there are healthy (and sweeter) alternatives to add some sweetness to your life. Both Raw Honey and Agave provide sweetness and great taste.




Raw Honey Benefits

  • Honey is much sweeter than table sugar, as well as healthier
  • Provides an energy boost (without a sugar crash)
  • Known to aid in relieving sore throats
  • Honey is naturally antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and kills bacteria – put it on chapped lips or cuts and burns
  • Can aid in relieving diarrhea
  • Has natural calming properties (pair it with chamomile tea)
  • Antioxidant (who doesn’t love antioxidants?)
  • Also known to help curb high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes
Agave Nectar Benefits


  • Lower glycemic index than other sweeteners
  • Contains anti-inflammatory properties
  • Boosts immune system

  • Vegan
  • Naturally anti-bacterial (similar to raw honey)
Try making limeade with raw honey or agave!
  • 1 cup lime juice (organic and locally grown)
  • 5 cups water
  • ¼ cup raw honey or agave (or to taste to preferred sweetness)
  • let chill and serve over ice!

I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas!

So, I've decided that next year we will be having a "pink" Christmas in our living room....or maybe just my room...;) I saw a pink Christmas tree and I 'm going to wait till it's on sale and put it out next year. So here's a few Christmas pic's of what I envision for next Christmas! Enjoy!

These signs are great! But sooooo expensive. How easy is it to just go down to your nearest craft store and buy a cheap piece of wood and paint and do it yourself....there's all different kinds of stecils you can buy too, in case you're not the free hand type.....

My Smoothie Diet

           So I've decided to do a little research on eating healthier and what not, and I came across this smoothie diet. I'm starting it tomorrow along with my regular routine with my P90X videos...I am getting exited to just get healthy again, and just feel good about myself and my body. I don't care about my size 7 jeans, I just want to be firm and healthy! lol Anyway, I'm posting my daily menu and I'm going to be blogging and taking pictures of myself every day to see how much I've changed. Well, here goes! Wish me luck!

Bowl of Special K with Skim Milk
Piece of fruit
Glass of Juice

Lunch
Turkey, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich (No Mayo)
with Balsamic Vinegar if you want

Large Salad, Chicken, Brown Rice

Eat veggies as much as you want too! And drink LOTS of H20!
